N'da Dance's iamweare
N'da Dance's South Africa outreach project iamweare is an initiative to connect South African artists in the diaspora and our global network of friends with communities in the rural areas and townships of South Africa to develop projects that facilitate knowledge sharing and skills exchanges initiatives towards self and collective empowerment so that we build meaningful relations utilising our infectious and electrifying energy through arts and culture.
iamweare aims to promote and encourage the spiritual, emotional and psychological healing of marginalised communities by bringing visibility to their stories, showcase the beauty and resilience of our diverse cultures in South Africa.
To bring all communities around the world together to fight poverty, the man-made prisoner and evil that obstructs us from realising our full potential rooted in human dignity for all - Ubuntu!
To empower and ignite our innate individual healing power to benefit our collective harmony.
To celebrate and honour our heritage, our ancestry based on our African philosophies expressed within the wisdom in the South African proverb - Umntu ngumntu ngabantu! I am a person, a person because of people - which highlights our fundamental collective interdependence in realising our visions and missions. iamweare.
